Casa Madre - Istituto Santa Caterina

Having abandoned the idea of bringing his Sisters to Naples, interpreting a very particular design of God, Fr. Simpliciano then accepted the invitation of the Municipality of Capua to open a house there. And so, the Sisters arrived from Rome to Capua on November 24, 1889, occupying the convent of St. Caterina of Alexandria, a property owned by of the Observants Friars Minor of the Province of Naples. The Sisters were welcomed with immense joy and great enthusiasm by the local authorities, and by the whole populace, who considered their presence in their midst a blessing from God.
